At an international level, SEP is taking part in information exchanges, joint product development, and social enterprise exchange visits within the framework of the SQUARES and Le Mat transnational networks
Projects funded by EQUAL are required to work in partnership with EQUAL projects in other member states. SEP is involved in two transnational partnerships:
To participate in working groups of the Squares and Le Mat transnational partnerships in relation to quality and impact, support structures, finance, procurement of public services and finance in order to exchange learning, |
To organise and facilitate a series of exchange visits for social enterprises to both host and visit social enterprise in other member states in order to exchange experience, promote learning and good practice. |
SEP-EQUAL is a member of two European partnerships of similar organisations, and leads a working group on quality and impact across both partnerships. Through our partnership with two networks of social enterprise bodies spanning Italy, Germany, Sweden and Greece (Le Mat and Squares partnerships), we will identify initiatives and practice in Europe which assist learning in England, Wales and Scotland, and arrange knowledge & skills exchange visits and seminars for practitioners and support agencies from the social enterprise sector.
The Partnership is working at a strategic level around the twin themes of promoting quality and strengthening business support and development through participation in a range of working groups designed to facilitate information exchanges, joint product development, awareness raising and exchange visits for members of social enterprises.
