To develop a social firm network across Wales to promote the social firm model and social firm development
To deliver training to mainstream and specialist business advisers around support provision for people with disabilities and other disadvantaged groups
To train social enterprise and social care practitioners to become social firm business advisers
To roll-out a specialist business support programme
To deliver a series of raising awareness events and seminars across Wales
Delivery Approach
The project is mainly focused on the social care and social firm sectors in Wales and is co-ordinated by Social Firms Wales. The DTA (Wales) and Wales Co-operative Centre are supporting partners in the Wales SEP project. The SEP Wales project is addressing the gap in the Wales wide social economy EQUAL project, which does not include social firms.
