Objectives

To promote a series of social enterprise raising awareness events across the region

To work together as a partnership to provide business advice to up to 100 potential and emerging social enterprises in Yorkshire and Humber

To develop a new assessment and diagnostic process for social enterprise business support interventions

To improve the business advice environment for social enterprises through raising awareness and providing training for 20 mainstream business advisers in the region

To develop new networks of social enterprises across the Yorkshire and Humber region and to encourage the exchange of best practice across networks

To use a new start-up model of ‘catalyst entrepreneurs’ to create five new social enterprises in the Yorkshire and Humber region



Delivery Approach

IMBY Social Firms provide project management and co-ordination on behalf of the regional delivery partnership of DTA (Yorkshire and Humber) and co-operative sector partner (now the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Co-operative Council. Regional EQUAL partnership is also collaborating with the Social Enterprise Development Centre, Regen School and Yes2 Ventures in project delivery.
