Objectives

To establish a new social enterprise partnership in the South East region

To develop regional marketing mechanisms for the social enterprise sector in the South East region (a trading web site)

To expand and diversify the business support environment for social enterprises in the South East

To pilot a quality and impact measurement tool with social enterprises in the South East

To contribute to the debate into the development stages of different models of business support in order to identify optimal timing for business support intervention & training.

To assist in the development of a new Social Enterprise Strategy for the South East region.



Delivery Approach

A new regional partnership, the South East Social Enterprise Partnership (SESEP) has been formed to deliver the EQUAL project. The partnership is comprised of three key support agencies, Social Firms South East, the DTA (South East) and the South East Regional Co-operative Council (SERCC). SFSE are acting project managers and a steering group has been established to manage delivery.
